“Humanity’s a failed experiment
Walking the path to extinction
Spinning its wheels endlessly
Grease them with oil and uranium”

“The way we live, we will destroy
Every other living thing
Till none are left except our race
And then we will destroy ourselves”
– “Critical Mass” by Nuclear Assault

“Only after the last tree’s cut, and the last river poisoned, only after the last fish is caught, will you find that money can’t be eaten.” – “Reclamation” by Lamb of God

“Endangered species, caged in fright,
Shot in cold blood, no chance to fight.
The stage is set, now pay the price.
An ego boost, don’t think twice.
Technology, the battle’s unfair,
You pull the hammer without a care.
Squeeze the trigger that makes you Man”
– “Countdown to Extinction” by Megadeth

Over 214,000 acres of trees are cut down every day. Construction of man made structures is the reason for most of this.
“What will you tell your children when they ask you ‘What went wrong?’ How can you paint a picture of a paradise lost to eyes that know only a wasteland?” – “Dark Days” by Parkway Drive
At the end of the day, every little difference can help. If everyone thinks alike and does their part to reduce waste, the world will be just a little cleaner.
